1. The Revenge of the Jedi
Star Wars is one of the biggest movie franchises estimated to be worth $70 billion. But have you ever heard of the film Revenge of the Jedi? This rare movie poster was printed before George Lucas decided to change the name to Return of Jedi. The error has made the poster far more valuable for collectors and, in auction, usually sells for between $1000-2000.
2. The Mad Doctor
This Mickey Mouse Cartoon poster is reported to be the most valuable Disney poster ever. As the poster was not printed in huge volumes, dates back to 1933, and, therefore, is more likely to be damaged, it can sell for over $130,000.
3. Lucky Strike Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction posters alone can fetch around $300. However, if the cigarette case is branded with the Lucky Strike logo, then it can be worth far more… The designers of the poster decided to leave the cigarette box blank in the final version, following a dispute with a British tobacco company.
4. The Maltese Falcon
To find a Maltese Falcon poster is like striking gold for movie collectors. Not only is it desirable, but it is also incredibly rare. The last one to be found raked in $191,200 in 2015.
5. The Phantom of the Opera

As a one hit movie wonder, Casablanca posters are desirable and relatively hard to find. The last one sold for a staggering $478,000 at a Texan auction back in 2017.
8. Metropolis
Metropolis posters are by far the rarest posters ever. The style and elegance of these posters distinguishes them from others and makes them highly collectable items. The last Metropolis poster to be bought was by Leonardo di Caprio in 2006. It went for $690,000.
